There was no meeting in Trump Tower, until the “fake-news” industry showed that, yes, there was.

Well, OK, there was a meeting, but the candidate knew nothing about it, until the “failing New York Times” proved that, yes, he did.

Well, it was about adoption, or rather dirt on an opponent, but not anything that we ever used, and Don Jr. had no help in his explanatory email, until the “enemy-of-the-people” news business showed that the father had actually dictated said email to the son.

Well, OK, but collusion is not a crime, even though there was no collusion (Oh, Mitch, he persisted!).

Perhaps if Hillary had called Trump’s followers “a basket of ignorables,” it would have been closer to the truth (if, in fact, the term “closer to the truth” is even relevant under this president).
