It is so repulsive that such a bloodbath should take place on this little heaven of Cape Cod (“Cape coyote hunt,” Feb. 2, Page 1).

Wasn’t it bad enough that for years there was a shark-hunting contest before the mindset swayed toward disgust of that?

Have some humans not learned that the ecosystem needs to work without human intervention? Sharks are now free to feed on the abundant seals.

Let the coyotes do their job. We should all keep our cats and dogs in view, just as we would our children.
