STUART, FL - John "Jack" Timmerman, 77, passed away quietly from this life in the arms of his loving family on Tuesday, September 11, 2018.

Jack was a lifelong automobile enthusiast. As a teenager he built a 1932 Ford Coupe. From there, Jack's passion for automobiles grew into a career, beginning as an Automobile Appraiser and then working his way up to V.P. of Automotive Claims, Fraud and Education at One Beacon Insurance Company. He was involved in many professional insurance associations holding officer positions.

Jack was an avid boater, fisherman and clammer. Most places he lived were always on the water or coast. Jack was a Boston Red Sox Fan and he and his wife enjoyed extensive cruising and traveling. After retirement, Jack played lots of golf with his friends. But most of all, Jack's biggest passion was his family and time with family was his greatest pleasure.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maureen, their daughter Jane Cronk and her husband Mark, from San Antonio, TX and their children Jenna, Wyatt, Julia and Carli; and their son Mark Timmerman from Sandwich, MA and his daughter Allie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held sometime around the Thanksgiving Holiday on Cape Cod.
