ORLEANS — An East Dennis woman was released on personal recognizance Friday in Orleans District Court after pleading not guilty to a charge of trafficking in more than 10 grams of fentanyl from an incident on May 25, court records showed.
Jennifer Kimball, 35, also pleaded not guilty to charges of possession to distribute Class B drug and possession of Class E drug.
At 4:40 a.m. May 25, Dennis police, state troopers and members of the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Special Weapons and Tactics team executed a nighttime, no-knock search warrant at Kimball's residence at 24 Deerfield Road in East Dennis. The warrant included Kimball as one target among five in the house. Kimball was in a bedroom, where police found substances believed to be heroin/fentanyl, crack cocaine and generic Adderall, a stimulant.
Police also found three children in the residence, a large amount of trash outside and evidence of rodent infestation. State child protection officials were to be contacted.
Kimball returns to court on Aug. 23 for a pretrial hearing.
