Duffy Health Center of Hyannis has received PCMH Prime recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and the state’s Health Policy Commission, according to a statement.

The PCMH Prime designation recognizes a level of quality care for patients through integration of primary care and behavioral health services, according to the statement. It has already received a Patient-Centered Medical Home designation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance.

Duffy uses evidence-based practices for effective treatment of substance abuse disorders, particularly Medication for Addiction Treatment, which integrates medical treatment and behavioral health counseling and is the most effective treatment for opioid use disorders, according to the statement.
