The Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce was an exhibitor at the Boston Globe Travel Show from Feb. 9-11 at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston, according to a statement from the chamber. It was joined by the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority in promoting Yarmouth at the show.

Its offerings included Cape Cod Potato Chips, rack cards with seasonal Yarmouth event listings, the Hyannis-Yarmouth Guide Book, chamber-branded phone wallets and pens and various member brochures, according to the statement.

Four seasonal getaway packages were awarded, each designed to highlight a signature Yarmouth event and promote Yarmouth as a year-round destination, according to the statement.

Chamber members John Brink of Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises; Kristina and Daryl Dittmer of The Optimist Cafe; Kimberlee McHugh of the Steamship Authority; Sid Cruz and Kathie Fahey of Cape Cod Cruisin’; Jennifer Rolfsema of CreativeChica and Michael Smith joined the chamber staff in promoting the town.

“Our attendance at the Boston Globe Travel Show this year was a success. We implemented a new ticket giveaway to promote the new Yarmouth Irish Festival and attendees found this very engaging,” marketing director Ashley Cormier said in the statement. “We also offered plenty of eye-catching visuals including a large poster promoting Yarmouth as a four-season destination with giveaway packages.”
