Upcoming meetings of Outer Cape Energize will allow community members to meet representatives of ACE Solar, the solar panel installer chosen for the regional effort to encourage more residential and small-business solar projects.

ACE Solar, based in Andover, was chosen out of six competitive proposals and will answer questions as well as provide individual site assessments, system designs and installation. The more solar panels purchased the greater the discount for everyone in the program, according to Outer Cape Energize.

The volunteer collaboration of energy committees in the towns of Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown is sponsored by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. “Meet the Installer” events will be at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 21 at the Center for Coastal Studies at 5 Holway Ave. in Provincetown and at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Wellfleet Senior Center at 715 Old King's Highway.

More community meetings will be held. More information is available online at outercapeenergize.org.
